Our objective was to provide a product capable of great musicality and realism whilst boasting exemplary technical specifications. By bringing together engineers and designers with a lifetimes experience in audio and power systems design we believe this objective has been exceeded.

The Precis, like the award winning Couplet power amplifier is based on our unigue Class D output stage that gives very low distortion performance and can handle the most difficult speaker loads on the market today without compromising stability or musicality.

This amplifier block forms a proven, robust and reliable foundation for our power amplifier designs, but this by itself does not guarantee class leading performance.

A top-flight amplifier should boast exemplary specifications, and the Chapter Precis achieves this but not purely for the sake of 'specmanship'. Hundreds of listening tests and auditions by recognised audio experts have gone into honing the Precis. It has taken more than a year of development time to take the Precis from being a great sounding integrated amplifier to an exceptional one.

Extensive research, and feedback from our distribution partners has gone into the final 'mix' ensuring that the Precis will give its best performance in any system in any country in the world.

Chapter Precis Power Supply

The Chapter Precis uses a very low noise, linear power supply to deliver pov/er to the pre and power sections of the amplifier. Using an 800VA custom made screened transformer and 300,000uF of capacitance, allows the Precis to deliver unmatched deep bass performance, with a deft and delicate touch.
